People are the heart of our community, and what better way to get to know your neighbors than with events that bring us together.

We are offering up to (15) $100 sponsorships, which will get you featured as art on our custom Coronado lotería tablas! You can choose to design your own card art or we can offer it up to a local artist to design it. Specifications apply--see below.
There are 54 total pieces of art that are randomly arranged on the Lotería tablas, all of which will feature places, things and characteristics of Coronado. As a sponsor, your company’s design will be one of those squares. While they will not appear on every tabla, we will guarantee 3 sponsor squares will be on each tabla (and we’re printing ~150 tablas, so you are guaranteed a minimum of 30 spots).

4"x6" in size (must be vertical layout) - see more detailed guidelines here
Could be a logo, but even more fun if it's some kind of art that represents your company!
You can design this in-house and send to info@thecoronadoneighborhood.com, or we can put it on the sign-up list for neighbors to volunteer to design on your behalf—let us know which you prefer.
All art must be received by November 1, 2026 to be included.

One of the most magical things about Lotería de Coronado is that the artwork on every tabla is made by OUR community — neighbors, friends, and creatives of all ages and abilities. We're looking for artists to design the 54 custom squares that make up our game, and there is genuinely a spot for everyone. Past contributors have ranged from professional artists and craftspeople to kids with finger paints and crayons. Whether you're 3 or 93, work in watercolor or washi tape, we can't wait to see what you create!
As a thank-you, every participating artist will be entered into a prize drawing — one entry per piece submitted, up to 5 entries per artist. We wish we could pay everyone for their creativity; as a 100% volunteer-led 501c3 non-profit, this is our small way of showing appreciation!

All submissions must be family-friendly. The CNA reserves the right to not use submitted work and retains the right to use accepted designs to promote current and future Lotería events. Full details at the sign-up link.
Raise a glass, meet your neighbors, and beat the heat!
This month is at The Main Ingredient and we will partner with more Coronado watering holes in the future.
Will be a few tables available, but we encourage you to bring blankets and chairs!

The goal of the subcommittee will be to determine how we as a neighborhood can better advocate for and improve the Miracle Mile area.
Is there a way we can add some branding to the area? Can we help advocate for a safer McDowell road so pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles can all safely access businesses? Is there an event that we can help plan to highlight and promote the area?
This will be a casual, informal meeting where we can talk about the area and throw out ideas. We can also determine a meeting schedule for the committee going forward.

Community Yard Sale!
Saturday, October 3rd, 9am – 2pm
As they say, one person’s trash is another person’s treasure. Start clearing out the closets and get ready for a neighborhood wide yard sale October 3rd 9 AM - 2 PM!

CNA is sponsoring signs to mark front yards as participating (there will be ~30 so first sign ups get dibs!)
Saturday October 10th 7:300-10:30am Coronado Park Meet at the picnic tables near the tennis courts Come clean up the park and check out what the Coronado Tool Shed has available to reserve or rent for Coronado Neighborhood Association members.
Wear a hat and sunscreen, and bring gloves and a picker if you have them (though we have some to share)!
